Newly developed at the Baptism Site, this exclusive cemetery has been carefully designed to provide a dignified and peaceful final resting place in one of Christianity's most significant spiritual landscapes.

The architectural concept combines an archaeological and well-organized layout with the spiritual and historical character of the site. The cemetery design ensures efficient use of space, clear circulation, ease of access for disabled, and a respectful environment for families and visitors.

The cemetery is structured around a central cross-shaped walkway, creating a clear visual and circulation axis throughout the site. Burial plots are systematically arranged along both sides of the walkways, ensuring an orderly layout and convenient access to each individual burial location.

Why Should You Want to Be Buried Here?

Choosing a final resting place at the Baptism Site carries a profound spiritual significance.

This sacred location is associated with one of the most important moments in Christian history:

The place where Jesus Christ was baptized. "These things were done in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing."(John 1:28)

Burial Plots

The cemetery includes 120 individual burial plots, each of them designed with two independent burial spaces arranged vertically (upper and lower burial spaces)

This two-level burial configuration allows an efficient use of the available land while maintaining an organized, accessible, and respectful cemetery environment.

With two burial spaces incorporated into each plot, the cemetery provides a total capacity of 120 burial plots with 240 Individual burial spaces

Wall Niches

In addition to the burial plots, the cemetery includes 128 wall niches, specifically designed for the placement of cremated remains in urns.

These niches , designed in groups of four and separated by a Christian cross, have been integrated into the architectural design of the cemetery as permanent and individually designated spaces for the respectful placement of cremated remains.
